Common Questions

Kitchen FAQ.

How early should we bring you in on a project?

As early as possible. The best outcomes happen when we join the project during design development, before finishes, hardware, and dimensions are fully locked in. Early involvement lets us offer constructability feedback, suggest material options that save budget without sacrificing quality, and help avoid costly scope changes during construction. On residential projects, that usually means joining alongside your architect or designer during concept or schematic design. On commercial projects, we can engage as early as pre bid or schematic design, or any time before final spec lockdown.

How long does a typical project take?

Project timelines depend on scope, size, materials, and our current schedule. Typical projects run around four to eight weeks from approved shop drawings to completed install, though larger or more complex work takes longer. Once we complete a site walk and understand what is needed, we provide a realistic timeline as part of the quote.

Do you handle installation, or just fabricate?

We do it all. From shop fabrication through on site installation and final walkthrough, every step of the project is handled under the ATA name. That continuity from start to finish is part of why we can take full accountability for the finished product and deliver the quality our clients expect.

How does pricing work? Do you provide estimates?

Every project is custom quoted after we review the drawings or plans and understand the full scope. From there we provide realistic budget ranges early so you can plan, and a firm quote once materials and specifications are locked in. Any scope changes during production are reviewed and approved in writing before they move forward, so the final number stays predictable.

What materials and hardware do you work with?

We work with a wide range of hardwoods, veneers, laminates, and solid surface materials, selected based on the project’s standards, intended use, and design direction. Hardware comes from established manufacturers known for commercial grade durability and precision. When a client or designer specifies a particular material or brand, we source to those specs. When we are recommending, we lean toward options that hold up well over time and look right for the space.
